May Nature Club

Above: Some of the Nature Clubbers study a bird's nest.
Hello! Today was our May Nature Club. What beautiful weather! Our topic was "Birds." We saw a couple birds including a Red-Winged Blackbird, Robin, Bluebird, Tree Swallow and some others. We saw a few nests with eggs! My favorite nest was the bluebird's nest with beautiful bright-blue eggs! The sun was shining, the sky was a cheery blue and we had so much fun learning and exploring in God's Creation!
Oh...and the dandelions were simply delightful! All of us young ladies enjoyed picking dandelions for bouquets, dandelion crowns and chains and more. There is a quote that says, "A weed is but an unloved flower." But today us girls loved this dandelion! The bright yellow is so cheery!
Well, here are some photos from this afternoon's Nature Club. Thanks, Kay, for the great time at the Arboretum this afternoon!
