Birdseed Biscuits

Hello Nature Clubbers! Here is another fun recipe for treats for the birds! They are called "Birdseed Biscuits." Here are the instructions and a photo. This recipe is a little bit easier than the "Seed Stars for the Birds" recipe I posted earlier.

Birdseed Biscuits
Makes 1-2 biscuits
Mix together 3/4 cup birdseed, 1 tablespoon flour, and 2 tablespoons of water. Spray or wipe a cookie cutter with oil and place on a foil-covered cookie sheet. Pack the seed mixture into the cookie cutter, inserting half of a straw near the top to make a hole for hanging. Bake the biscuit (with the straw) in a 170 degree oven until the biscuit is hard (about one hour.) Let it cool. Remove the straw, thread a piece of yarn through the hole and hang outside in a tree or bush. Enjoy!
