January Fun at Brenton!

We stopped by Brenton Arboretum yesterday in the afternoon for a short, but fun time around Overlook Pond. The pond was still frozen, so we enjoyed "skating" on the ice. There was some snow on the ice and we just wore our boots, but it was still very fun! Here are some snapshots from yesterday:

Walking on the trail to Overlook Pond (at Brenton Arboretum).
On the pond, looking at the trail.
An animal track. We thought it might be a deer track.
More animal tracks.
Here are some drawings we made in the snow on the pond:
We Love Brenton Arboretum!!
"Kay is Cool"!!!

Here I am, writing in the snow.
"Thank you Mr. B" (Mr. Brenton)
Nature Clubber Andrew with his name!
We love Brenton Arboretum!
Have a great January!

Wow, Elizabeth! It's really neat how you wrote in the snow like that! We need to get out there more.
